productivity

tomaaatos

the most productive that i've done today, a tomato soup!
now i'm gonna make myself ready and then i'm off to Västerås to spend time with Mimmi.

My studying.

Today i've started my studys. My subjects for this authum is History A, Society A, Math B and Alternative Medicin. I think Dirk is a bit hesitent to alternative medicin, i think a loads of hilarious discussion is lyin a head of us. haha

In sweden we got a point system. To be accepted in to unversity in sweden you need to have 2400 points, which is 2400 hours of studying on different subject. My history is for example on 100 points, which is 100 hours. You are collecting these points at high school during 3 years. Then you get the levels of the subjects, from A to even E in some subjects.

There is two different ways to get accepted to the education you want, after you got your "university acceptens". The system is a bit "tricky" and would just be boring to read, so lets skip that.

Me, who wasn't very intereseted in school when i was suppose to, have the possibilty to re-do it now when i feel more motivated. What's even better is that i can do it over the internet, which i've chosen to do.

I'm not really sure what i want to studdy at university, not even sure if i will. But i want the possibilty if i all of a sudden know what i want or at least get some sort of idea. Reading all these subjects makes me also realize what i'm intrested in and not, that's why i've chosen a variety of subjects. And it may sound cheezy but it's true, i think it's fun to know a little bit of everything. And i don't think i can only count my self into that statement.

Maybe i should knit a meatball?

hanna bought a poncho, now i've got this idea of making a pongo myself. not sure yet though, i hve a feeling it would end up in some half done thing that will just look like a tiny blanket.. so, i have to make up my mind propely first this time before i throw myself into it. yes. there's a sort of poncho fever now since the authum is now offical.

other than that i'm making meatballs today - mustard meatballs. in sweden we have a whooole world of meatballs. Mustard meatballs on this wednesday it is. I think it will be a success!

dirk

kanon

i was lyin in my bed earlier with some trouble making up my mind - should i go for a run or not?
Tired, unmotivadet, felt over it and just off. but then i thought i should check what it cost to gym, just for a one-thingi-thing.
So, i took my running shoes and wallet to our local gym. 60 kr was the price, i thought it was slightly overpriced so i figured that i should get som value for the money - so i knocked myself out there. making muscels for every penny! haha
After 1½ hour i went out swetty, happy and totally knocked out. I can feel how the pain is slowly coming... aj aj aj.

worth it! so proud over myself, and it's a good feeling so i'm gonna pay those 60 kr again on friday! awesomeness.

run run run

i'm sitting here trying to find some energy to spend on the run that i've planed today. guess it's better doin it sooner than later so that i'll get it over with. Afterwards i'm gonna take my healthy lungs to the farmacy, time to get nicotin patches!

good day today!

fishi

the weekend in stockholm at emmas was a lot of fun - had a blast. think it was a bit needed to get out of hallstahammar for a little bit.

today we've been just driving home and i've been chilling at home, skyping with dirk for hours. tonight i think i will either spend with my parents or at hannas place infront of bridget jones dairy. time will tell!

dirk told me that he's been outside our house and sneak through the windows. i'm so excited about moving in there! got all these interior ideas for it, but since i grew up in a ikea-land they are all budget ideas. so dirk can be calm.. haha

now i think my fish in the owen is done and it's time for dinner.

lite nervig

now i'm waiting for hanna to pick me up so that we can take our tiny little asses to stockholm. we're gonna have an awesome time with a lot of laughter, wine and "late-summer".

det är insidan som räknas

ikea is turning 60 years this year, so this years ikea catalog has been well known of it's entrance. It came in our post a couple of days ago. Pure torture to me, there is so many things that i want and it's frustraing just being able to take with light stuff like fabrics to namibia. i guess i have to look deeper into shipping costs, cause like i said - pure torture!

and it's lying there on dining table straing at me - mocking me!

freeedag!

Today my plan is to drink some red wine, i've missed that!
Hannas grandparent (shame on my not knowing which one of them) is having a 80-yearold party tonight. Hanna and Hannas mum Paula has been oragnizing it so i will show up there later as a part of the family with a bunch of flowers and red wine! Flowers for paula and hanna - red wine for me.

So today it will be a chilled evening with red wine and good company.

Tomorrow me and hanna are heading to stockholm to visit emma, who just moved there. Matilda is goin there today allready. so on saturday it's gonna be some partying for the four of us, that is offcourse if me and hanna are not getting totally lost in the traffic since we are driving there.

treehouse

The most that i've missed when i was in namibia, exept my family and friends, is my morning spot.

this is the place were i greet the mornings, fill up my batteries. I sit here with my coffee and ciggarette every morning - yes, even when it's 30 minus and snow up to my chin.

But next week my plan is to sit here with a cup of coffee and a nicotine patch, not as idyllic and arty but a lot more helthier

morning glory!

the autumn is knocking on the door. next week it's september and that is offical autumn, and you can actually feel it. the evenings are getting colder and you get this wet/cold smell in the air. The apples are getting red, our pears are getting bigger and on some trees you can see that they starting to turn yellow and red on the top of the crown. But the biggest fact of that autumn is coming is the darkness that sneaks around.

When me as dirk got here in the begining of august it was till summer (the seasons change quickly).
Both of us was quite impressed when we got here - it was so light during the evenings. I knew it was gonna be long evenings but i had totally forgott how long. Dirk himself always thought it was earlier that it actually was, i'm not gonna lie i thought so too. But since this is the place i grew up i always answerd

-"oh, you think it's light now dirk? it's just 10 a clock. you should see it in june! this is nothing"

but thinking

-"IT'S SO AMAZINGLY LIGHT OUTSIDE!!! WOW!!!!"

but like i said. I had to stay in caracter and play cool about it. what made me realized more that i'm not used to it was last night when i was on my way home from mimmi.

she called me from the kitchen

- LOOK! it's pitch black outside.. autumn is defenetly here now.
- but shouldn't.. ? eeh.. it's 11 a clock?
- I know!!

I'm so offshore.

skallberget

yesterday i took my ciggarettes and smile to mimmi in västerås. she moved there when i still was in namibian so i never saw the new apartment of hers. It was a beutiful, big and light flat which had the best location you could ever dream of - 10 meters from a pizzeria! right over the street! i thought it was awesome at least.

I had a really lovely time there last night with her and her boyfriend mattias. We were of course drinking tea and eating chocolate aswell. First thing we did was having sandwishes in the kitchen, since she asked me when i step through the door -"are you hungry?". To me there is never a negative answer to that.

vad kvinnor vill ha

i've done some washin today from the festival, didn't smell too good since it rained the last day at the festival.. wet close lyin in a suitcase isn't very "parfumey". My african suitcase is still unpacked and being at home in my girl room also comes with a mum that nags you to unpack it, don't blame her though. but i don't really get were i'm suppose put all my clothes... hm. thanks to mr price i'm now overloaded with clothes.

i've also been studying a bit now that i've got my afrikaans book. i'm slighlty confused but i'm getting the hang of it.

downloaded "what woman wants" the other day so now i'm gonna snuggle upp in front of the tv and watch it with some imported roobios tea.. makes me think of botswana were i drank it for the first time. So a very nostalgic evening it is!

raggmunk!

my mum is makin 'raggmunk' at the moment. a swedish dish that is quite similar to panncakes but it's made out of shredded potatos. taste like a hashbrown but looks like a panncake! the translation on google says "potato panncakes", so guess we'll stick to that. we eat it with fried pork and lingoberry jam.

anyhow, i've been a bit productive today. got myself a learing afrikaans book and booked an appointment with my counselors. Time to study math for goggatjie!

hannas gonna come here later tonight and i guess we will just lie like two seals in my bed watching a movie and just talking nonsence.. i will also ofcourse skype with dirk when he's back in swakop later tonight. We are now facing the skype-era!

älskling!

after i said goodbye to dirk at the airport yesterday i headed to surahammar to visit malin. hanna and emma were allready there. we drank tea, eat chocolate and talked about life in general.

Was quite nice to have a girls night since i was a bit shaken and upset, sayin goodbye to dirken was horrible. but i guess i have to stay positive to make the best out of the situation. Like dirk said, i'm just on a 6-8 weeks holiday.

but aj aj aj i miss him.

sweden

since i'm in sweden now i figure i will write my blog in english. A part time namibian means that i'm also a part time swedish, or maybe even 1/4. haha, any how.. i'm in sweden now and will come back to nam in october. Can be the begining, can aslo be in the end. But i figure it will be sooner than later since my heart is already a bit sore after sayin goodbye to wonderfull dirk at the airport yesterday.

So now i will show you what i'm up to in sweden and what kind of wiking stuff i'm doin all day long haha.

for example i had a crayfish party a couple a weeks ago. A swedish tradition were we eat crayfish, wearing silly hats, drickin snaps and singing stupid song before we sip the alcohol in.

sadly i forgott to take pictures since i was all stressed about stupid things at the party, i always turn into a organizing perfectionist when i'm havin a party. but i think we all had a lovely time. luckely victoria took some pictures from the party and here is my poor thing looking all confused in that crayfish hat.
